This resonates so strongly elisa. As I process the past - mine, my ancestors - through my body old wounds have felt chronically tight and overwhelming. And I am in this place of “remembering” something I was never taught. That I do not need to try to hold it all alone. Or even to “do” it … the processing and healing. That I am held by something vast, Gaia and the stars, the heavens, the universe, the mystery. That I can let go of the vigilant efforting. This shift is so profound … to move in my life from a place that is a-part-of (not a-part-from). It is a practice … this remembering that I can articulate with the mind but that is in the body. Part of my daily small work. I am grateful for your writings and perspective.
