Here in Ontario we have a native grapevine that seems invasive (choking trees and generally difficult to manage). Do you have issues with yours having baby vines popping up wherever or does it tend to stay put?
it stays put but man does it want to stretch out to surround the whole house! is that grapevine providing food? i figure we just need to eat more of those opportunistic species!

such a gentleman, and very shy. he only recently stopped getting weepy if you pick him up. sweet boy
